Yannick Dupraz is a CAGE postdoctoral fellow at the University of Warwick. He obtained his PhD at Paris School of Economics in 2016. His research interests are economic history and development economics. He studies how various institutions can contribute to alleviate or worsen inequalities of opportunity. This has led him to work on the history of education in Cameroon, the history of state building in French and British African colonies, and social mobility in the US in the 19th century.
